REGISTRATION FOR YOM KIPPUR WILL RESUME AFTER ROSH HASHANA

Please note:
  • Ohab Zedek High Holiday Services will be conducted under the purview of Rabbi Allen Schwartz with medical and rabbinic guidance.
  • Participants must adhere to social distancing guidelines, including mask wearing at all times.
  • Portions of the service will be truncated to ensure a safe and meaningful experience for all.
  • Air conditioning units will be cleaned and filtered before, between, and after Rosh Hashana & Yom Kippur
  • Spaces, seats, and surfaces will be sanitized between each service.
  • Seats will be spaced out and assigned by the office.
  • Currently, we expect to host the following staggered Minyanim:
    • Main Sanctuary Service
      • Family seating allowed
      • Seating assigned by office on first come first serve basis
      • Shacharit at 9:15am
    • Sephardic Minyan in the Bet Medrash
      • Limited seating
      • Shacharit at 8:00am
    • High-Risk / Vulnerable Population
      • Early 6:30am Sunrise Shacharit in Main Sanctuary, starting with "HaMelech"
      • Limited seating Shacahrit in Sukkah at 8:00am (if Rain, Minyan will meet in Social Hall) - also starting at 'HaMelech'
  • If demand requires it, we will add minyanim to accommodate requests
  • The Rabbi is emphatic that no one should feel pressure to attend shul.
  • For those more comfortable davening at home, we will also host in Shul the following opportunities:
    • 3:30pm - 2nd Day Rosh Hashana - Shofar
    • 3:30pm - Yom Kippur Afternoon - Yizkor

Please Note:
Mincha on Erev Yom Kippur (Sunday Afternoon) will meet at:
  • 1:16pm (Mincha Gedola)
  • 4:15pm (Mincha Ketana)
Kol Nidrei Eve
  • We will add an additional Late Maariv at 8:15pm for those interested in limited exposure at services
Shacharit - Mincha - Neilah
  • To accomodate demand and maximize social distancing, this year we are hosting multiple "Minyan Packages" - you must attend the Mincha/Neilah associated with your Shacharit. 
  • The Early Minyan Shacharit & Sukkah Minyan Shacharit will start with "HaMelech," and will have an Early Mincha/Neilah completing by Shkiah, this is permissible in Jewish Law and was in fact the predominant practice in Talmudic Times
   Main Minyan - 6:20pm - YK Kol Nidrei & Maariv - Fully Booked
   Sephardic - 6:20pm - YK Kol Nidrei & Maariv - Bet Medrash - 3 of 24 Left
   Sukkah - 6:20pm - YK Kol Nidrei & Maariv - In Social Hall if Rain - Fully Booked
   Late Minyan - 8:15pm - YK Late Kol Nidrei & Maariv - 68 of 97 Left
   Early Minyan: 6:30am Shacharit, 4:15pm Mincha, 5:15pm Neilah (Maariv at Home) - 59 of 97 Left
