SIR: Mrs. Dodi Fishman Tobin

All DayDodi Fishman Tobin holds a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Fairleigh Dickinson University, an M.A. in Bible from Bar Ilan University, a B.A. in Psychology from Barnard College, and is a graduate of the Matan Advanced Bible Program. Dr. Tobin is the Dean of Students for Eshkolot: The Matan Educators Institute for Tanakh and Jewish Studies. She is also the coordinator of the Matan Advanced Tanach Summer Institute and director of Matan Bet Shemesh. Dr. Tobin teaches at Matan, and lectures throughout Israel and abroad. She made aliya in 1998, and resides in Beit Shemesh with her husband Marc and four children. Dr. Tobin's inspirational lectures combine literary analysis, classical commentary, modern scholarship and psychological insight to facilitate a rich understanding of biblical texts while underscoring their message for contemporary society.
