2:00 PM - 4:00 PMGrand Masonic Lodge of NYHave you ever wondered about the Freemasons? How true are such books as The Di Vinci Code and The Lost Symbol, or the movie National Treasure?
The Freemasons are the oldest fraternity in existence.
Many of the founding fathers of the United States were active Masons, including Benjamin Franklin, George Washington, Paul Revere, Alexander Hamilton.
Also, the same is true for Presidents George Washington, Andrew Jackson, Abraham Lincoln, Theodore Roosevelt, Franklin Delano Roosevelt, Harry S. Truman, Gerald Ford, and others.
Many famous Jews were also active Masons, Rabbis Gersom Mendes Sexias, David de Sola Pool, Chief Rabbis of the United Kingdom, Brodie, Hertz.
Eddie Cantor, Al Jolson, and Irving Berlin were lodge brothers.
There are 19 floors of the Grand Lodge. Over 40 lodges meet there every month.
Each Lodge room is different and unique in décor.
