Hashkama Minyan - Rabbi Blanchard's Blurb

To every thing there is a season and time for every purpose under heaven. There are times when we leave and know that we are never to return. There are times when we know we must not leave, we must stay. And there are times when we leave, knowing that we will return after the purpose of our journey has been fulfilled. On these  journeys we have a purpose in mind but we often find that we have in fact been assigned a more profound task . We were quite unaware of this task when we set out and then, along the way, we are "interrupted" by a  much greater possibility. And we pause, take in that a new vista has been opened to us and think: This is truly the place where heaven meets earth and I did not know it. I vow to keep the promise of this special experience with me as I continue on my journey, knowing that it will be with me until I return home.

Thoughts occasioned by Genesis 28:10-22
