DVAR TORAH
Hashkama Minyan - Rabbi Blanchard's Blurb
We have positive qualities that make us uniquely valuable and important to the people in our particular world.---intelligence, insight, kindness, well-organized, well-connected, generosity, patience, etc. We are known for one or more of these qualities and people see us as special because we have them. How would we feel if others began to have them as well? --if we were no longer the smartest or the kindest or the most helpful or the most generous? Would it seem as if they encroached on our territory? Would we feel "less special" and resent them for it? Or would we rejoice in the increase in the good qualities that make our world wonderful to be in?
