Hashkama Minyan - Rabbi Blanchard's Blurb

  • People we care about die. How do we say goodbye to those we love, to the family, friends and teachers  with whom we have spent an important part of our lives? As a start, we gratefully appreciate the moral and spiritual quality of their lives . And how they helped makes us who we are. We do this both in our own minds and by sharing stories about them with others. Still,  we know that in order to go on with our own lives, we have to put away what remains of their physical  presence . We do so and then we can grieve.   But, when possible, , we put it where we can find it and perhaps, when we visit it there, reconnect again with them on a deeper level.
  • Reflections on Genesis 23.
