Hashkama Minyan - Rabbi Blanchard's Blurb

  • Important events in our life often endow the places they occurred with profound meaning.  Think of the house, or apartment, where you grew up. Remember your "home town'', or where you went to university or got your first real job.  See in your mind, the place where you fell in love or found God. All these places, and many more,   are the site of the challenges and the promises of your life. . Have you since returned to them? What was it like? Are there places that you have not revisited but feel the need to do so? Why? Do you want to draw strength from what happened there? to fix what went wrong there? to realize , or perhaps even claim/reclaim what was made possible there? Gather up all these important places now in your mind and own the depth of your experience and the richness of their promise. Then, think of what you now need to do
  • Reflections on Genesis 35:1-7.
