Hashkama Minyan - Rabbi Blanchard's Blurb

  • There are moments when all the forces at work in the challenging moments of our life seem about to either explode, and destroy everything, or come together and liberate us.   We find ourselves caught between, on the one hand, an inability  to tolerate the strain as things are about to fall apart and, on the other hand,  celebration of the merging of the opposing forces that have been at work. The first brings tears of   pain while the second brings tears of joy. If only we knew, at these powerful moments, what was really going on. Or, better, if only at these moments, the explosion and the coming together could happen as one,

  • Reflections on Genesis 45:1
