Sarah Stambler, the new Secretary of the Board, takes pride in her many successful ‘Discover OZ’ outreach programs. She and her husband Shlomo Bar-Ayal love to travel, but consider OZ their home away from home. They have hosted over 5,000 Shabbos Guests! When not volunteering tirelessly, Sarah is the proprietor of E-Tactics - a boutique media advertising agency.

Who are the larger-than-life people, the giants, in the story of your life? Parents? Political leaders? Great teachers? Celebrities like movie stars or sports stars? Some are heroes, while others are villains, or at least significantly morally compromised. One day, we realize that real people are imperfect and complex. Does that mean that we lose our heroes? I don't think so. The older, or maybe even the wiser, we get, the less we expect our heroes to be giants; the more we find that we can be inspired by what seem to be "ordinary" lives. Who are your heroes, and why?
