We know what comes with a meaningful life journey. There are the necessary efforts, commitments, and difficult decisions; there are the risks, the failures, and the successes. We have our disappointments and our celebrations.
We also set aside special times for reflection on our life journey. We struggle with our mistakes, large and small, and work to correct them and make up for them.
Sometimes, we can't help but get discouraged.
How do we avoid the deep sadness and discouragement that comes with seeing that we keep "getting it wrong"? One answer worth thinking about: The joy of our life journey comes from our faith in our ongoing spiritual process of expanding self-awareness and self-renewal.
