It is with profound sadness that I inform you of the untimely passing of our member, Stanley Nachamie, a long-time resident of our community, and dear friend to many West-Siders. Stanley suffered from Myotonic Dystrophy and struggled heroically to the very end. Stanley had a very kind soul, and was always ready to extend his hand to help anyone. He was also, usually the smartest person in the room, yet maintained a very quiet and humble demeanor. He attended many shiurim, and the presenter always knew that if Stanley was present, they had better be very well prepared for sharp questions and comments. Funeral arrangements have not yet been made, and we will share them as soon as we have them.
May Stanley’s kind soul rise to the firmament among the holy and pure, and may Stanley’s family be comforted among the mourners of Zion and Jerusalem.
