Dear OZ family,
Two weeks ago, an Israeli family of 9 children had their entire world overturned when a murderous terrorist rammed and killed two brothers at a bus stop, and seriously wounded their father, Avraham Paley.
We can’t imagine the unspeakable pain of this family, but they made an announcement today over which all of Israel rejoiced. Devorah Paley gave birth to a boy today, and Avraham, after a two week coma just left Hadassah Ein Kerem Medical Center. We mourned in their sorrow and rejoice with them in this bittersweet Simcha.
Supporters of boycott and divestment from Israel forced an exit from investment in Israeli technology companies, and just last week re-invested hundreds of millions of dollars outside the country. These haters of the Israeli government would rather see their money invested in less reliable places than to support Israel in any way. The entire portfolio was moved to what they thought would be a more worthy place, a bank made famous since then, by the initials, SVB. Such are the ironies that often accompany the irrational and one-sided hatred of Israel.
I wish everyone a wonderful day.
Spring is in the air!
Stay well and healthy.
